Top issues during term (6)
police use of force investigation

It could save you some mowing and landscaping costs, but don’t expect a major budget shake-up.
police lawsuit settlement
If the settlement taps city funds, taxpayers could foot the bill—but the source doesn't say how much.
public funds misuse lawsuit
The city could face costs from legal defense and potential loss of public funds, though recovery may be possible depending on the lawsuit’s outcome.
campaign finance
The direct taxpayer cost is small, but campaign cash can sway city contracts, zoning, and spending decisions that hit your wallet.
