Impact analysis
A $250,000 tourism grant boosts Silver Street Park; a formal appropriation resolution comes to council in July.
Residents get upgraded parks, an animal shelter, and modern public works facilities; the tourism economy benefits too.
Neighbors of the public works site on Roseview and Daisy may face construction noise, though buffering is planned.
