EV Charging and Anti-Idling Campaign

Wesselman Park Pollinator Planting
Volunteers planted 1,400 native pollinator plants in three rain swales by the Wesselman Park pickleball courts to soak up stormwater and filter pollution. Wesselman Woods designed educational signage for the site.
Jacobsville Park native planting project
The Southwest Indiana Native Plant Society, which has maintained the garden for eight months, got approval to extend it 10-12 feet and add walking pathways.
Community service roadside cleanup and recycling
Participants have hauled away 35 tons of trash and recycled over 22,000 pounds since November — diverting more than 46 tons total from the landfill — at almost no cost to the county.
